Verification, Tracking and Monitoring for Honey

Honey analysis now fits in your pocket.

You assess a sample taken with the analysis kit through a mobile application and determine within minutes whether the honey is genuine or contains added syrup. The result is placed on record against the batch.

A measured result accelerates three critical decisions.

Honey is among the product groups most frequently subject to adulteration. Holding a verified result at three points in your supply chain shortens your decision times.

You hold evidence you can present to your buyer

When authenticity is questioned you present a written result based on measurement and conduct the discussion on shared evidence.

You make the intake decision without delay

You view the result while the batch waits on the vehicle or at the weighbridge and make your acceptance decision the same day.

You hold an auditable record

When an enquiry arrives you can see which batch was assessed and what result was produced without conducting a search.

You receive the result as a single classification.

When the assessment is complete, a single classification is reported rather than a chart requiring interpretation: genuine, questionable or syrup added. The step you take follows from that classification.

  • The result is displayed within minutes
  • Every assessment is linked to its batch
  • A report is generated ready for sharing

Setup is completed in four steps.

You know which stage you are at throughout the process.

01

The kit is delivered

The measured liquid, test dish and dropper are dispatched to your organisation ready for use.

02

The sample is applied

Five drops taken from the jar are transferred to the test dish supplied with the kit.

03

It is assessed by mobile application

The application requests two images: the drops as first applied and the state once mixing is complete.

04

The result is reported

The result is produced within minutes, linked to the batch and turned into a report ready for sharing.

Verification that does not alter your current operation.

Setup requires no change to the way you work.

Your operation is not interrupted

Sample dispatch, appointments and waiting time for results are eliminated; the process is completed where you stand.

Product integrity is preserved

Five drops are sufficient. The batch is not opened, packaging is not compromised and no product is lost.

It is configured for the sector

The system is built around the risk topics specific to honey; buyer and inspection expectations are addressed within that scope.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is training required to use the kit?+

It is not. The steps are shown in sequence within the mobile application. A member of field staff can begin applying it the day the kit is received.

How long does the result take to produce?+

Minutes. Once the images are taken the result is displayed on the same screen; there is no queue to wait for and no sample to dispatch.

What result does the kit provide?+

It states whether the honey is genuine, questionable or contains added syrup. The result is reported as one of those three classifications.

Is the floral source measured?+

It is not. Floral source and regional information are retained as data declared by you, on the same record as the assessment.

Are results placed on record?+

They are. Every assessment is saved to your account together with its batch, date and image data, and can be viewed subsequently.

Can the report be sent directly to a buyer?+

It can. The report is prepared for sharing without requiring an additional summary, in language a non-specialist reader can evaluate.
